On May 03, 2022, a meeting of the forensic ecological examination section of the Scientific Advisory and Methodological Council on Forensic Science at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was held by video conference.
From the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in the work of the section participated:
- Nataliia Nestor, Deputy Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise;
- Oleksii Kopanytsia, Deputy Head of the Engineering and Environmental Research Department, Head of the Section;
- Volodymyr Borovyk, Head of the Engineering and Environmental Research Department of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise;
- Olena Matviienko, Forensic Expert of the Engineering and Environmental Research Department of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, Section Secretary.
The work of the section was carried out in accordance with the agenda. During the meeting, the results of the expert work of the Scientific Advisory and Methodological Council on Forensic Science of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on forensic engineering and environmental expertise for 2021 were discussed, as well as the progress of the research in accordance with the Thematic plan of research work of forensic research institutions of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for 2022.
The participants of the section covered promising research works, considered explanatory notes to them; analyzes the results of the implementation of research work in accordance with the plans of approbation and implementation of the Scientific Advisory and Methodological Council on Forensic Science of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for 2022 are presented, the results of reviewing expert opinions are provided and a number of other topical issues of forensic environmental engineering are outlined.
The holding of section meetings promotes productive cooperation between the staff of research institutions of forensic examinations and allows them to constructively discuss the range of urgent issues for further effective solutions.
