On May 12, 2022, a meeting of the section of forensic construction and technical and land technical expertise of the Scientific Advisory and Methodological Council on Forensic Science at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was held by video conference.
From the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in the work of the section participated:
- Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise;
- Roman Pasko, Head of the Laboratory of Engineering and Technical Types of Research of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, Deputy Head of the Section;
- Mykola Shyshov, Head of the Department of Land Management and Land Valuation Research, Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.
During the meeting of the section, the materials of the R&D, which are being implemented in accordance with the thematic R&D plan of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for 2022, were considered. The letter of N. Tkachenko, the Director of the Expert Support of Justice Department dated 09.05.2022 No. 34968/6.4/27-22 was also considered; consideration and acceptance of R&D results completed in 2021, reviews of expert opinions and other topical issues of forensic examination, exchange of experience in expert work between employees of forensic institutes and other issues in accordance with the agenda.
In addition, the experts discussed topical issues related to the consequences of the military aggression of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine, the importance of the conclusions of construction and technical and other examinations on the mechanisms of compensation for destroyed housing, and more.
The work of the section was productive, and all issues were considered in full.
