On June 04, 2024, the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise took part in the scientific and practical round table “Adaptation and Innovation in Computer Forensics in Ukraine during Martial Law: Challenges, Strategies and Prospects” at the invitation of the Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute of Special Equipment and Forensic Expertise of the Security Service of Ukraine (ISTE of the SBU).
Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, delivered a welcoming speech in which he emphasized the importance of using modern computer technology and software capabilities in the time of russian military aggression on the territory of Ukraine.
Dmytro Samarin, Deputy Head of the Phonoscopic, Computer and Telecommunications Research Department of the Criminalistics Laboratory, and Murad Novruzov, forensic expert of the Phonoscopic, Computer and Telecommunications Research Department of the Criminalistics Laboratory, also joined the roundtable.
Such events are aimed at introducing and using innovative technologies in computer forensics and improving the work of forensic institutions.
