On May 3, 2023, a section of forensic art expertise of the Scientific-Advisory and Methodological Council on Forensic Expertise at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was held with the participation of representatives of the Department of Expert Support of Justice of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The section was held online.
Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was represented by the following experts:
- Nataliia Kovtiukh, Head of the Department of Art History Research
- Alina Diachenko, Forensic Expert of the Department of Art History Research
- Oleksandra Shpetna, Senior Forensic Expert of the Department of Art History Research
- Oleksandr Sadchenko, Head of the Organization of Scientific, Methodological Activities, Regulatory Support and International Cooperation Laboratory, Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise
During the meeting of the section, in accordance with the agenda, the participants considered the progress of the research in accordance with the thematic plan for 2023, reports and reviews, and topics for inclusion in the thematic plan of the research project of the Research Institute of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for 2024, other pressing issues of forensic art history, historical and archaeological expertise.
On May 5, 2023, according to the plan of the Scientific Advisory and Methodological Council on Forensic Science at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, a meeting of the forensic economic section was held via videoconference.
The section from the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was attended by:
- Nataliia Nestor, Deputy Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise
- Olha Lukova, Head of the Laboratory for Economic Research
- Ihor Hrynenko, Head of the Financial Research Department and Credit Operations and Economic Activity of Enterprises of the Laboratory of Economic Research
- Mykhailo Poliennikov, Leading Forensic Expert of the Laboratory for Economic Research
At the meeting of the section, there was a discussion of issues on the agenda, namely: hearing reports on completed research work; review of the state of implementation of research works carried out according to the thematic research plan of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for 2023; annotated research reports, the progress of research completed in the current year; issues of improving methods; review of controversial issues of expert practice and discussion of topical problems of forensic economic expertise. In addition, the section was re-elected as the head of the section and the deputy chairman of the section. Ihor Hrynenko was elected deputy chairman of the section by a majority of votes.
