Training of specialists

KFI provides training and internships for specialists aiming to obtain or confirm the qualification of a forensic expert.

The Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in accordance with the Regulations on the Central Expert Qualification Commission at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and Certification of Forensic Experts, approved by the order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine 03.03.2015 No 301/5 (registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on March 4, 2015 under No 249/26694) conducts training (internship) of specialists who are not employees of state specialized institutions and have intention to obtain and/or confirm the qualifications of a forensic expert.

Training (internship) of specialists who are not employees of state-specialized institutions in the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise is carried out in expert specialities:

Training (internship) of specialists in the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, who are not employees of state specialized institutions, is carried out in accordance with the Procedure approved by the order of the director of the institute on August 12, 2021 No. 35

Training (internship) of specialists who are not employees of state-specialized institutions and intend to obtain and/or confirm the qualifications of a forensic expert is carried out:

Under the training program on theoretical, organizational and procedural issues of forensic expertise – by the Institute of Law and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, which have the appropriate license to carry out educational activities in the field of advanced training (there is no such license in Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise);

According to training programs in relevant expert specialities, approved by the head of the Central Expert Qualification Commission under the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and published on the official website of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (https://minjust.gov.ua/legal_expertise/program_sudexpert).

Specialists who are not employees of state specialized institutions and intend to obtain (confirm) the qualification of a forensic expert pay a fee for training (internship), the amount of which is determined in accordance with the cost estimate, taking into account the number of training hours for lectures, practical classes and the number of hours for reviewing drafts (copies) of conclusions.
