X International scientific and practical conference “Innovative development of legal science in the modernization of society”

On February 28, 2020, employees of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine took part in the X International scientific and practical conference “Innovative development of legal science in the modernization of society”.

The event was implemented on the basis of the National Aviation University within the framework of the current Memorandum of Cooperation. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the development of legal ideology in today’s society; public-legal mechanisms for ensuring the constitutional rights of the human and the citizen, the legal provision for informing civil society; innovative development of legal mechanisms for combating criminal offenses. It is also indicated on innovations in law enforcement in the context of society’s modernization; trends in the development of the science of labor law and social security law; problems and directions of improvement of civil science; the basics of the development of commercial, air and space law, etc.

Serhii Nesterenko acting Head of the laboratory of the organization of scientific, methodological activity, regulatory support and international cooperation of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise noted the role of the Institute in the implementation of forensic examination to establish the truth in the process of proving the most resonant criminal proceedings that have been widely publicized society. As well as improving the effectiveness of scientific research in the field of forensics, developed theoretical, procedural issues of forensic examination and forensic techniques and methods, taking into account modern achievements of science and technology. During the event, the manual “Forensic examinations in the procedural law of Ukraine”, issued by the Institute, presents current traditional and latest areas of forensic examinations.

The participants of the conference discussed the following issues on discussion platforms: innovative development of legal science: foreign experience and jurisprudence in the context of modernization of society.

In addition, Oleksandr Zherebko, the Head of the department of normative and methodological activities and standardization of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise and Andrii Poltavskyi, the assistant director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise presented scientific theses. The main aspects of theses were the psychological features of interrogation in a conflict situation and standardization of the standardization of expert processes, as an improvement of the mechanisms for ensuring constitutional human and civil rights.
