The delegation of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine paid a working visit to the Division of Identification and Forensic Science of the National Police of Israel. The purpose of the visit was the exchange of experience and discussion of ideas for international cooperation in expert and scientific-methodological activities.
Representatives of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise got acquainted with the general structure and organization of work of the Division of Identification and Forensic Science of the National Police of Israel, the features of conducting technical research of documents, trace, ballistic and weapons research, as well as studies of materials, substances and products.
The material base and modern instruments used by experts during the research were presented separately.
The parties discussed the possibility of organizing the internship of experts bilaterally, jointly conducting scientific and practical events, developing and updating methodological bases of research.
In general, the meeting was a successful continuation of the cooperation that began in March 2019, when, with the assistance of the Embassy of the State of Israel, colleagues from the Division of Identification and Forensic Science of the National Police of Israel visited Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.
