Under the CEPOL-2021 Exchange Program, experts from the State Non-Profit Organization “National Bureau of Expertises” of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia arrived at the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.
CEPOL is the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training, whose activities are aimed at developing, implementing and coordinating the training of law enforcement officers.
CEPOL brings together a network of training institutes for specialists in the EU Member States and supports them in providing frontline training on security priorities, and promotes training on security and information exchange. CEPOL also cooperates with EU bodies and international organizations to ensure a collective response to current security threats.
By bringing together law enforcement officials, CEPOL provides the conditions for their professional growth, helps to address European security issues, and creates a network of higher education institutions for the proper training of professionals. CEPOL’s motto is learning, innovation and motivation.
Starting in 2019, forensic research institutes may also participate in CEPOL Exchange Programs. Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise was the first institution from the system of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine to take part in the program.
