Within the framework of the CEPOL-2021 Exchange Program, the representatives of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise visited the State Non-Profit Organization “National Bureau of Expertises” of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.
To study foreign experience in conducting examinations there were the following representatives of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise:
- Yevhen Tymko, Head of the Department of Forensic Speech, Audio Analysis and Forensic Information Technology;
- Ihor Samoilenko, Chief Forensic Expert of the Ballistics, Explosive and Weapons Research Department;
- Nelia Poplavska, Chief Forensic Expert of the Materials, Substances and Products Research Department.
During the visit, the experts of the Institute were acquainted in detail with the organization of the work of the departments of the State Non-Profit Organization “National Bureau of Expertises” of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia. Representatives of the host party provided theoretical and practical materials for the organization of ballistics, biological and computer research, according to the specialization of experts.
The CEPOL-2021 Exchange Program not only contributes to the training of experts but is also one of the elements of the international cooperation of expert institutions.
