On the basis of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was held the next extended meeting of the Technical Committee (TC) No. 192 “Forensic Sciences”.
The meeting participants were members of the TC, as well as heads of subcommittees and working groups.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the transfer of the regulatory documents of Ukraine regarding the use of a polygraph during forensic examinations, working with digital evidence from the scope of TC No. 20 “Information Technologies” to the scope of TC No. 192.
In addition, the draft updated Regulation on TC No. 192 was discussed, the progress of work on the implementation of the National Standardization Work Program in 2019 was reviewed, which envisages the development of 11 DSTU projects in the direction of TC No. 192 activity, a decision was made to create a subcommittee “IT Technology Expertise”.
Based on the results of the meeting, further steps were identified for the implementation of the measures envisaged by the Strategic Action Plan of the TC No. 192 for 2019-2024 years.
