Holocaust Remembrance resolution 60/7 was adopted by the decision of the UN General Assembly on November 1, 2005. This document established January 27 as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Ukraine has been commemorating the victims of the tragedy at the state level since 2012.
The Holocaust is one of the largest tragedies in the history of mankind, which makes us think about the value of life, freedom and peace. This is a tragic lesson for all of humanity that must be remembered to prevent it from happening again.
We bow our heads in sorrow to the innocent tortured victims of the Holocaust.
Blessed memory to all the dead.
