The staff of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine joins the celebration of the Embroidery Day — a holiday of traditions and values of the Ukrainian people. Experts of the Institute and representatives of separate regional branches support the idea of glorifying the great Ukrainian people and traditional clothing of our ancestors.
On this holiday, it would be reasonable to emphasize that national memory is very important, and only Ukrainian people can save it and pass it on to our descendants. Since ancient times, embroidery was not just clothes for Ukrainians. It encrypted sacred symbols that preserve the history of the people, its identity. Today embroidery is like an ancient chronicle through which we can touch the history and culture of every corner of Ukraine.
