The interdepartmental scientific and methodological journal “Criminalistics and Forensics” is included in the list of scientific specialized publications of Ukraine of “B” category. It was approved by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated November 26, 2020 No. 1417 “On approval of the decisions of the attestation board of the Ministry” and amending the orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated July 2, 2020 No. 886 and dated September 24, 2020 No. 1188.
Category B is assigned to scientific publications that are included in the relevant international databases and meet all the requirements adopted in the world practice.
For over 55 years, the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has been issuing scientific journal “Criminalistics and Forensics”. Wide ranges of theoretical, practical and methodological issues are discussed on the pages of the publication, scientific discussions are conducted, and domestic and foreign news in the field of forensic expertise is covered.
