It was developed by the Technical Committee 192 TC 192 “Forensic Sciences” (hereinafter referred to as TC 192 “Forensic Sciences”) DSTU 9168:2021 “Forensic examination of weapons. Ballistics research. Terms and definitions” and it was adopted by the National Standardization Body.
The decision to adopt the standard was put into effect by the order of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Research and Training Center for Standardization, Certification and Quality” dated 24.12.2021 No.545.
According to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 26.11.2014 No. 1163 “On determining the state enterprise that performs the functions of the national standardization body”, the functions of the national standardization body in Ukraine are performed by the state enterprise “Ukrainian Research and Training Center for Standardization, Certification and Quality Problems”.
