On May 16, 2024, the Economic Research Laboratory of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise co-organized the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Economic Security: Organizational, Legal, Information, Analytical and Operational Investigative Principles”, which was held by the State Tax University of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
Olha Lukova, Head of the Economic Research Laboratory of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, delivered a welcoming speech and noted that the conference offered a wide range of topics on economic security in the context of national security. She also emphasized that the Ukrainian state is purposefully and confidently moving towards the European community, confirming the immutability of the political course towards European integration. And in this process, the role of economic security as a factor in the development of the national economy is extremely important.
Within the framework of the conference, Maryna Rudaya, Leading Researcher of the Laboratory of Psychological Research of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, in her abstracts summarized the peculiarities of determining the amount of material damage in the context of post-war reconstruction as a means of ensuring the economic security of the state. During the event, the participants discussed issues related to economic security as a component of the national security of the state, criminal procedural and operational and investigative support of economic security of the state; economic crime as a threat to economic security; foreign economic security of Ukraine and world experience in ensuring economic security.
