On August 16, 2024, a roundtable discussion “Peculiarities of polygraph use in the activities of security and defense sector units under martial law in Ukraine” was held at the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs. The event was organized by the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Department for Support of the Head of the National Police.
Tetiana Morozova, Leading Researcher of the Laboratory of Psychological Research of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, took part in the round table with the report “Access to the evidence base as the main idea of conducting research using a polygraph in solving and investigating crimes”.
The roundtable also brought together representatives of units and services of the security and defense sector, researchers from higher education and research institutions of Ukraine interested in discussing the declared issues.
