The expert of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise took part in the UNODC webinar

On February 22, 2023, a webinar was held online, organized by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime. The representative of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise at the event was Larysa Oliinyk, Senior Forensic Expert of the Materials, Substances, and Products Research Department.

The UN Office on Drugs and Crime webinar was primarily devoted to the analysis and status of the 2022 and 2023 International Collaborative Exercises rounds. Today, 275 laboratories from 83 countries of the world, including the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, are taking part in the International Collaborative Exercises. The main shortcomings and successes in the 2022 rounds were also highlighted and new trends in the 2023/1 round were discussed.

No less important and relevant is the issue of recommendations of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime on early warning of new psychoactive substances. During the webinar, it was emphasized once again that only registered users have access to basic information about new psychoactive substances.

At the end of the webinar, time was traditionally allocated for questions and answers for participants.
