On September 28, 2022, Yurii Irkhin, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Head of the Psychological Research Department of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, associate professor, took part in a scientific and practical seminar on the topic: “Organization and conduct of a pre-trial investigation of corruption criminal offences, the subject of which is illegal gain”, which was organized by the State Bureau investigations of Ukraine.
The format of the seminar included both direct participation of participants and online connection. Artem Medvedenko, Deputy Head of the Main Investigative Department of the SBI, gave an opening speech to the participants of the event.
Yurii Irkhin gave a scientific report on the topic: “Assistance to the investigator in the appointment of a psychological and linguistic examination. Expert capabilities of the specified type of research to establish the circumstances to be proven in criminal proceedings on corruption criminal offences”. During the conference, the participants had the opportunity to share their experiences and discuss debatable issues related to the subject of unfair advantage.
