On November 21, 2023, the II Conference “Compensation for Damage Caused as a Result of War” was held, organized by the Yurydychna Praktyka.
Nataliia Kovtiukh, Head of the Department of Art History Research of the Laboratory of Engineering, Transport, Commodity and Special Types of Research of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, delivered a presentation on “Determining the amount of real damage due to the loss, damage or destruction of cultural property in connection with the armed aggression of the russian federation”.
The conference also covered other issues related to the determination of damage, the process of proof, assessment of the amount of real damage, etc.
The event was an opportunity to discuss issues and problems related to compensation for damage caused by russia’s military aggression against Ukraine.
