Anna Stromylo, an expert of the Cherkasy Branch of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, took part in the meeting of heads of prosecutor’s offices and public authorities on the topic: “Status of implementation and implementation of the Pilot Project on the implementation of international standards of child-friendly justice”, which took place on September 14, 2023.
The event was attended by the Head of the Department for Protection of Children’s Interests and Combating Domestic Violence of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the leadership of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the Head of the Juvenile Prevention Department of the National Police of Ukraine, the Head of the Investigation of Crimes Committed Against Life and Health of the Cherkasy Regional Police, the Head of the Juvenile Prevention Department of the Preventive Activity Department of the Cherkasy Regional Police, the Head of the Service on Affairs of Minors of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, the Head of the Regional Centre of the provision of legal aid, investigators other officers authorized by law to investigate criminal offences committed by minors and for minors.
Anna Stromylo took part in the event with the topic: “Features of the expert’s work in the implementation of the project on the implementation of international standards of child-friendly justice, interaction of the expert with a child victim of a crime in criminal proceedings”.
In general, the event was held in the form of an active dialog, with participants showing interest in the speakers’ topics, asking questions to the speakers, discussing the possibilities of further implementation of the pilot project, and exchanging opinions and experiences.
