Specialists of the Cherkasy Branch of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine acted as co-organizers and speakers of a training seminar on topical issues arising from the appointment and conduct of forensic examinations in criminal proceedings.
The event was organized on the basis of the Cherkasy Local Prosecutor’s Office with the aim of improving the professional level of prosecutors and addressing topical issues that require discussion as well as the analysis of positive and negative practices.
According to Antonina Yefimenko, the Head of the Cherkasy Branch of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, such meetings are not the first to be held and are systemic in nature.
This time, the speakers of the training seminar were experts in the field of land examinations, experts in economic and environmental studies.
The meeting also discussed proposals for improving the interaction of the Cherkasy Branch of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise with the Cherkasy Local Prosecutor’s Office, investigators of the Cherkasy Police Department and the Cherkasy District Police Department of the Cherkasy Regional Police Branch in the Cherkasy Oblast.
