Scientific and practical seminar on the topic “Forensic expertise — an effective method for solving land market problems” was held at Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
The event was dedicated to the discussion of topical issues of the role of forensic examinations in the process of introducing the land market in Ukraine and the effective implementation of land reform.
Joint scientific work was carried out by representatives of research institutes of forensic examinations of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, the Land Union of Ukraine.
The speakers of the event were leading experts, practitioners, and scientists.
Mykola Shyshov, the Head of the Department of research on land management and land assessment of KFI, presented a report to the participants on the topic “Problematic issues of forensic land technical examination and land management examination”.
Ihor Slavin, Director of the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre spoke about forensic examination in the formation of the State Land Cadastre.
Andrii Martyn, Head of the Department of Land Management Design, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, has revealed the growing role of forensic examination in the development of the agricultural land market.
Andrii Koshyl, the President of the Land Union of Ukraine, represented the final report on land market in the conditions of a moratorium of its alienation.
Each report was accompanied by a discussion with the audience; the participants examined in detail the pressing issues of the theoretical and practical aspects of conducting and the importance of forensic examinations as an effective method of solving problems in the land market.
