On October 26, 2021, representatives of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, Roman Pasko, Head of the Engineering and Technical Types of Research Laboratory and Ilia Herasymenko, Head of the Department of Construction Research and Real Estate Valuation of the Engineering and Technical Types of Research Laboratory, took part in the scientific-practical conference “Determining the value of real estate as of the date in the past. Problems and ways of solving problematic issues”.
The event was organized by the State Scientific Research Forensic Center (SSRFC) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The conference took place in the Conference Hall of the State Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The following topics were discussed during the conference:
- the legal status of the object of study and its impact on the conditions of determining the value;
- issues of reliability of the study to determine the value of real estate as of the date in the past;
- procedural features of conducting research and using their results;
- generally accepted and specific valuation techniques for determining the value of objects as of a past date.
The event was attended by representatives of public authorities, expert institutions, NGOs, and businesses. Welcoming remarks were made by Nataliia Tkachenko, Director of the Department of Expert Support of Justice of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, and Yurii Chechil, Deputy Director of the State Department of Justice of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As a result of the scientific-practical conference, approaches to solving problematic issues were developed, experience was exchanged, urgent issues were discussed and ways to solve them were outlined.
