On January 28, 2022, Nataliia Nestor, Deputy Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, and Oleg Baulin, Head of the Scientific Activity and International Cooperation Department, took part in the round table “Careless Criminal Offenses: Problems of Theory and Practice”.
The event was held online, organized by the Faculty of Law of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”.
In addition to the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, representatives of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, the National Academy of Internal Affairs, the Academy of Advocacy of Ukraine and other scientific and educational institutions.
During the round table, the representatives of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise presented a report on “Examination in criminal proceedings: some problems” in which the existing problems in the field of forensic examination were discussed in detail and the ways to solve them were proposed.
