On December 23, 2022, representatives of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise took part in the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems of the theory and practice of forensic examination on intellectual property” (“Krainiev readings”). The conference was organized by the Research Center for Forensic Expertise on Intellectual Property (hereinafter referred to as the Center). The event was held online.
The conference is devoted to the study of the scientific heritage of the famous scientist, the first director of the Center Petro Krainiev and the formation of theoretical and methodological foundations of forensic expert activity in the field of intellectual property.
The conference from the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise was attended by:
- Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, who gave his opening speech;
- Nataliia Klymova, Leading Forensic Expert of the Department of Commodity Research and Research of Intellectual Property of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise;
- Oleksandr Zherebko, Head of the Department of Regulatory and Methodological Activities and Standardization.
During the conference, participants heard reports and considered issues related to forensic examination of intellectual property, in particular history, theory and methodology. In addition, the issues of forensic examination in the fields of technical creativity, brand names and trademarks, examination of computer programs were discussed.
