On April 15, 2022, regular meetings of the forensic sections of the scientific advisory and methodological council on forensic issues at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine took place, in particular, the forensic biological and veterinary section, the forensic section of intellectual property and the forensic section. The sections were held by video conference.
In the work of the section on forensic biological and veterinary examinations from the Kyiv Research Institute of Forensic Examinations of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the representatives were:
- Nataliia Nestor, Deputy Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise;
- Oleksandr Borzov, Deputy Head of the Materials, Substances and Products Research Department, Deputy Head of the Section;
- Iryna Varavina, Leading Forensic Expert;
- Serhii Sichkar, Senior Research Fellow, the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.
From the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in the work of the section of examination of intellectual property objects took part:
- Nataliia Nestor, Deputy Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise;
- Nataliia Klymova, Leading Forensic Expert of the Commodity Research Department and Research of Intellectual Property Objects;
- Anatolii Dorovskykh, Chief Forensic Expert of the Commodity Research Department and Research of Intellectual Property Objects;
- Viktor Davydchenko, Leading Forensic Expert of the Kropyvnytskyi Branch of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.
The work of the section on forensic military examination of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine was presented by the following experts:
- Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, Head of Section;
- Victor Savechko, Head of the Forensic Military Department;
- Oleksandr Kozlov, Chief Forensic Expert of the Forensic Military Department.
During the sections, reviews of the R&D approbation and annotated R&D reports, as well as the progress of R&D completion this year were traditionally considered; the course of implementation of previous decisions of the section; issues of improving methods, generalization of expert practice, and exchange of expert experience. The work of all sections was carried out in accordance with the approved agenda.
