Regular meetings of forensic examination sections were held

On October 28, 2022, regular meetings of the forensic sections of the scientific advisory and methodological council on forensic issues at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine took place took place. In particular, the forensic examination section in the field of life safety and occupational health, the forensic electro-technical examination section, and the forensic examination section of intellectual property objects. The sections were held in the mode of video conferences.

From the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the following participated in the work of the intellectual property objects section:

  • Nataliia Nestor, Deputy Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise;
  • Nataliia Klymova, Leading Forensic Expert of the Commodity Research Department and Research of Intellectual Property Objects;
  • Anatolii Dorovskykh, Chief Forensic Expert of the Commodity Research Department and Research of Intellectual Property Objects;
  • Viktor Davydchenko, Leading Forensic Expert of the Kropyvnytskyi Branch of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.

In the work of the forensic examination section in the field of life safety and occupational health and safety from the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the representatives were:

  • Oleksandr Shmereho, Head of the Department of Life Safety Research, Fire Engineering and Electrical Engineering Research Laboratory of Engineering and Technical Types of Research, Head of the Section;
  • Mariia Iliina, Leading Forensic Expert of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise;
  • Valentyn Kuchynskyi, Leading Forensic Expert of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.

The following experts represented the section of forensic electro-technical expertise from the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine:

  • Oleksandr Lysenko, Deputy Head of the Department of Life Safety Research, Fire Engineering and Electrical Engineering Research Laboratory of Engineering and Technical Types of Research;
  • Viktor Fonrabe, Leading Forensic Expert of the Cherkasy Branch of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise;
  • Leonid Poleshko, Leading Forensic Expert of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise. 

At the session of the sections, the issues on the agenda have been discussed traditionally, namely: the implementation of the current research in accordance with the thematic plan of the research of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for 2022; results of approval and implementation of scientific works. In addition, the participants of the sections considered proposals for making changes to the training (internship) programs for expert specialties; proposals regarding the relevance of individual recommended scientific and technical and reference literature, etc.
