On October 1, 2021, an international scientific-practical conference of forensic experts “Modern aspects of forensic examination: theory and practice” was organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova together with the National Center of Forensic Examination at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova.
Representatives and speakers from the Institute were Oleksandr Ruvin, Director, Oleksandr Zherebko, Head of the Department of Regulatory and Methodological Activities and Standardization, and Oleg Baulin, Head of the Department of Scientific Activities and International Cooperation.
The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Moldova Serhii Lytvynenko opened the event, after which representatives of expert and scientific institutions of Moldova, Hungary, Armenia, Ukraine and other countries addressed the participants.
Then there were presentations of scientific papers. During which the participants talked about modern developments in the field of forensic science, shared experiences on organizational and methodological aspects of certain types of forensic examinations.
