On July 29, 2020, Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine took part in a meeting of the delegations of Ukraine and the Islamic Republic of Iran to resolve issues related to the shooting down of UIA flight PS752.
The event took place at the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine
The parties discussed the circumstances of the shooting down of the plane, ensuring the effectiveness of the criminal investigation, providing international legal assistance and applying the norms of international law.
Representatives from Afghanistan, the United Kingdom, Canada and Sweden also joined the discussion via video conference.
