Nataliia Nestor, Deputy Director, became a representative of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise at this year’s meeting.
Ukraine for the first time in history was invited to speak at such a prestigious expert event. Nataliia Nestor represented the entire Ukrainian expert community in the presentation “Forensic problems and challenges for expertise in Ukraine”, which highlighted the situation in Ukraine, the main forensic problems Ukrainian forensic experts clashed during wartime research, called on Ukraine and forensic experts to assist in capturing evidence, conducting expert research, and assisting with expert equipment. Natalia thanked for being heard about the expulsion of two Russian institutes from ENFSI members and presented it to its chair, Christina Bertler Edlund commemorative sign from the entire Ukrainian expert community for support.
She also thanked the Armed Forces and volunteers for protecting Ukraine and repelling the enemy, which gives experts the opportunity to do their job!
Traditionally, the annual ENFSI meeting addressed the issue of including new members in the membership and introduced new permanent representatives to ENFSI. We are proud that this year the Ukrainian Scientific and Research Institute of Special Equipment and Forensic Expertise became a member of ENFSI. These are already 4 institutions from Ukraine that have joined the international expert community.
Everyone must do their job for Ukraine to win!!!! In unity is our strength!!!!
It should be noted that cooperation within the ENFSI opens up many opportunities for expert institutes. First of all, it is strong support in solving current expert problems, exchange of experience in the field of forensic science and research and development at the international level. Glory to Ukraine!!!! Glory to the heroes!!!
