On December 03-06, 2021, Nataliia Nestor, Deputy Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, Doctor of Law, visited the Forensic Science Department of the Greek Police (Athens) where she met with the Director, Major General of Police, Dr. Pinelopi Miniati, Head of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI).
During the meeting, they discussed topical issues of the current state of cooperation. As well as the prospects for further effective cooperation in the field of scientific and forensic activities, cooperation with the Forensic Science Department of the Greek Police, the direct participation of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise in the ENFSI and further fruitful international cooperation of scientific and forensic institutions.
In addition, during the visit, Nataliia Nestor was acquainted with the work of structural units of the forensic department of the Greek police, logistics equipment.
The visit of the Deputy Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise to the Forensic Science Division of the Greek Police is the next stage in the development of international cooperation. Since 2018, the institute has been actively building its capacity to establish partnerships with international experts and scientific institutions.
