Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise participated in the meeting of the Interdepartmental Coordinating Council on forensic science at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
Andrii Haichenko, the Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine on Bailiffs Service and Nataliia Tkachenko, the Head of the Office of Expert Support for Justice of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine chaired the event.
The participants were representatives of research institutions and expert services of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the State Border Service of Ukraine, as well as participants from the Prosecutor General’s Office.
In the course of the meeting, experts considered issues of state registration of forensic examination techniques as well as discussed future changes in relevant legislation.
