On September 28, 2023, the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Online Conference “Experience and Problems of Forensic Expert Activity under Martial Law in Ukraine” was held, organized by the Odesa Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. The conference was co-organized by the Lviv Scientific Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute of Special Equipment and Forensic Expertise of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The purpose of the conference was to summarize the experience and combine the efforts of various subjects of forensic science and criminalists in solving urgent current and future professional problems.
Scientists, employees of forensic institutions, judicial and law enforcement agencies, private experts, and applicants for scientific degrees of specialized educational institutions were invited to participate in the conference. Oleksandr Ruvin, Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, took part in the conference and emphasized the exceptional role of forensic examination under martial law.
