On September 29, 2022, at the initiative of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, together with the forensic institutions of Ukraine, a discussion was held on the procedure for involving international experts in conducting forensic examinations in Ukraine. As well as on the recognition in Ukraine of forensic examinations conducted abroad and the inclusion of foreign conclusions in materials of criminal proceedings, receipt by the courts of Ukraine of explanations of a foreign court expert.
Oleksandr Ruvin, director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, and Oleg Baulin, Head of the Scientific Activity and International Cooperation Department of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, took part in the discussion of issues related to the involvement of international experts in conducting forensic examinations in Ukraine. In particular, the Director of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, Oleksandr Ruvin, shared his experience in involving international experts in conducting forensic examinations.
