Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise held a regular working meeting with the heads of branches.
At present, KFI includes Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kropyvnytskyi and Chernivtsi branches. These are separate structural units established to improve the expert support of law enforcement agencies and judges, the concentration of qualified personnel in the field and the approach of expert institutions of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine to the investigative bodies in the regions.
The purpose of the meeting was to summarize the work of the Institute and its branches for the period of 11 months of 2017. The management of KFI and the heads of the departments discussed the actual issues of the organization of work, the number of examinations carried out according to the types of expert studies, the analysis of promising areas of work and scientific developments as well.
In addition, the participants of the meeting considered and once again summarized the changes in a number of basic legal acts in the field of legal proceedings.
