This is one of the greatest religious holidays: it was on this day that John the Baptist baptized Jesus in the Jordan River.
On this day, the water in the rivers becomes healing and gives people health and inspiration all year round, protects them from disaster, fills them with life-giving energy.
Thousands of Ukrainians consecrate water on this day, which then acquires healing properties, and some even immerse themselves in an ice-hole.
