Today, August 23, 2023, the whole of Ukraine celebrates the Day of the National Flag, a symbol of our independence, dignity and unity. The Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise congratulates everyone on this special day.
The National Flag is not only a combination of blue and yellow colours, but also a symbol of our deep connection with our native land, and our commitment to the principles of freedom and dignity. We are a nation that understands that it is thanks to these principles that our country has its own colour on the political map of the world.
Today is also a reminder of the great historical mission of our generation. It unites the nation, unites us in the struggle and for a successful, independent and prosperous future of our native land. The national flag of Ukraine inspires hundreds of thousands of our brave defenders, who today again defend our freedom every day in heavy battles. This is a shrine with which we honor the memory of the fallen heroes. In the context of russia’s war against Ukraine, the day of honouring one of the main symbols of the state acquires a special meaning.
On the occasion of the National Flag Day, we urge everyone to proudly hold it high as a symbol of unity, devotion and strength of the nation. Let the blue and yellow flag always fly in our country, testifying to our achievements and our indomitable will and desire to preserve freedom and independence.
