Ihor Aleksieiev, the adviser to the Minister of Justice of Ukraine, People’s Deputy of Ukraine visited Khmelnytskyi branch of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise as part of a working visit.
On the basis of the branch, Ihor Aleksieiev met with the Head of the Main Territorial Department of Justice in Khmelnytskyi region Viktor Khudniak and Anatoliy Poplavskyi, the Head of the Khmelnytskyi branch of KFI.
During the visit, the participants discussed topical issues of forensic and expert activity as well as and planned joint activities to assist in the implementation of tasks assigned to structural units, including expert institutions of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
Forensic experts of the Khmelnytskyi branch of KFI acquainted the guests with the peculiarities of the work process, told about modern methods of research and new kinds of forensic examinations that arise in response to the needs of the society. In addition, it was about the prospects for the development of the field of forensic work within the framework of the expansion international cooperation.
In conclusion, Anatoliy Poplavskyi, the Head of the Khmelnitsky branch of KFI expressed gratitude for the attention of government officials to the work of forensic experts, as well as understanding and assistance in resolving problem issues, continuing fruitful cooperation.
