On May 27, 2021, KNDICE, for participation in the International Joint Exercise Program (ICE) of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), received certified standard samples of the most common narcotic and psychotropic substances.

During the program, the laboratories of the participating organizations must identify the samples provided, report the purity or concentration of controlled drugs.

Participation in the ISE Program of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime is a unique opportunity to join the international community in combating illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Gain new experience and learn best practices in quality management in drug research laboratories.

KNIDE joined the UNHCR Joint Exercise Program in 2020. According to the results of the second round, in which the Institute participated, all provided samples were accurately identified.
