On May 27, 2021, the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, to participate in the International Collaborative Exercises Program (ICE) of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), received certified standard samples of the most common drugs and psychotropic substances.
During the program, the laboratories of the participating organizations must identify the samples provided, report the purity or concentration of controlled drugs.
Participation in the ICE Program of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime is a unique opportunity to join the international community in combating drug trafficking and psychotropic substances, gain new experience and learn best practices in quality management in drug research laboratories.
The Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise joined the International Collaborative Exercises Program (ICE) in 2020. According to the results of the second round in which the Institute participated, all provided samples were accurately identified.
