On November 23, 2023, the V International Scientific and Practical Conference “Topical Issues of Law and Socio-Economic Relations” was held online on the Zoom platform, organized by the Central Ukrainian Institute of Human Development of the University of “Ukraine”.
The purpose of the conference was to discuss the problems of theory and practice of legal science, as well as socio-economic relations in the context of the challenges of modern society in order to develop scientifically sound recommendations for the development of the legal foundations of the state, restoration and maintenance of the high quality of economic, administrative and cultural potential of Ukraine.
The conference was co-organized by the KFI Kropyvnytskyi Branch, Kirovohrad Scientific Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Southern Interregional Department of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in Kirovohrad Region, and Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University.
The conference was attended by Kostiantyn Lagoda, Head of the KFI Kropyvnytskyi Branch and Serhii Petrov, Leading Forensic Expert of the KFI Kropyvnytskyi Branch.
Kostiantyn Lagoda, who addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech, noted that the issues of law and socio-economic relations are topical issues that, in the context of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, require comprehensive discussion and elaboration with the participation of specialists in the field of modern law, scientists, experts, law enforcement officers, economists, business representatives and the public.
Serhii Petrov presented a report on “The practice of conducting forensic handwriting and forensic technical examinations of documents related to the registration of property rights to land plots and their lease”.
The event also featured presentations by legal professionals, scholars, experts, lecturers and students from universities in Ukraine, Poland and Moldova.
