On March 14, 2024, representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine met with leading American companies to discuss cooperation on the identification of those killed as a result of Russian aggression.
The Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise was represented by Oleksandr Ruvin, Director, and Yevhen Tymko, Head of the Phonoscopic, Computer and Telecommunications Research Department.
Among those present at the event were Dmytro Vovchuk, Vice President of The Cohen Group; Charles Hooper, Senior Advisor to The Cohen Group, Director of DSCA, Lieutenant General; Michael McKinley, Ambassador, Senior Advisor to The Cohen Group; Patrick Turner, Senior Advisor to The Cohen Group; Nataliia Tkachenko, Director of the Department of Expert Support of Justice of the Ministry of Justice; Iryna Oliynyk, Deputy Director of the Department, Head of the Division of Organizational and Management Support of the activities of the Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Department of Expert Support of Justice of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
During the meeting, the participants discussed ways to work together with American partners and the most effective methods of conducting examinations related to Russian aggression and violations of international law.
