On October 05 and 06, Heorhii Mashkov, Senior Forensic Expert of the Expert Activity Informatization Department of the Laboratory of Organization and Information and Analytical Support of Expert Activity of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise and Rostyslav Kikerchuk, Forensic Expert of the Ivano-Frankivsk Branch of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise took part in the scientific and practical seminar of specialists of the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Actual problems of computer, technical and telecommunication research and ways to solve them”, organized by the State Scientific Research Forensic Center of Ukraine. The seminar was also attended by representatives of the following institutions: Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; Odesa Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine; Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute of Special Equipment and Forensic Expertise of the Security Service of Ukraine; NABU; SBI; and specialists from non-governmental expert institutions.
During the event, the participants discussed problematic issues and ways to solve them, exchanged positive experience, learned about new methods and software products and the current state of legal regulation of forensic science.
