Experts of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise joined International scientific and practical conference “The implementation of the state anti-corruption policy in the international dimension”. The event was held on the eve of the International Day against corruption on the basis of the National Academy of Internal Affairs.
The event was attended by representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the Consultative Mission of the EU in Ukraine, government organizations and judicial bodies. The event was also attended by specialists from research institutions, public organizations, higher education institutions, famous scientists.
Topical issues of improving anti-corruption legislation, ways to improve the activities of special institutions in the fight against corruption, discussion of draft amendments and additions to legislation, recommendations for the practical implementation of preventive anticorruption measures, ways to intensify counteraction to corruption crime and training relevant specialization, legal documents and foreign experience were discussing during the conference.
During the conference, the participants agreed that the chosen topic of the scientific forum was a fruitful ground for exchanging views on further development of the Ukrainian legislation and law enforcement practice, and the participants proposed to approve the final recommendations and send them to the appropriate authorities.
