On June 3, 2022, the All-Ukrainian scientific-practical conference “Topical issues of forensic psychological examination in cases of claims for compensation for non-pecuniary damage” took place online. The conference was organized by the National Scientific Centre “Hon. Prof. M.S. Bokarius Forensic Science Institute”.
Representatives of the scientific-practical conference from the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise were Yurii Irkhin, Head of the Psychological Research Department, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, Forensic Expert of the Higher Qualification and Tetiana Tamakova, Senior Forensic Expert of the Psychological Research Department and Anna Levchuk, Senior Forensic Expert of the Psychological Research Department.
Yurii Irkhin made a scientific report on the topic: “Legal and methodological principles of forensic psychological examination to determine the approximate amount of compensation for non-pecuniary damage in group (collective) lawsuits”.
During the conference, participants had the opportunity to share experiences and discuss issues related to the fair trial of compensation for non-pecuniary damage and issues related to the forensic psychological examination in cases of compensation for non-pecuniary damage.
