On September 21, 2020, Dmytro Samarin, Heorhii Mashkov and Oleksandr Zaks, senior forensic experts of the Department of Forensic Speech, Audio Analysis and Forensic Information Technology of the Kyiv Research Institute of Forensic Expertise took part in the webinar “Demo: Investigating with Magnet AXIOM”.
In the course of the event, the “Magnet AXIOM” software was demonstrated, which helps in the effective way to conduct of forensic examinations in specialties 10.9 “Research of computer hardware and software products” and 10.17 “Research of telecommunication systems (equipment) and tools”.
The webinar speakers reported on:
- combining data from many sources: cloud storage, smartphone backups, hard drives, etc.;
- advanced data recovery capabilities using machine learning and timeline explorer;
- formation of effective technical reports based on the results of the research.
As a result of the webinar, the participants received international certificates.
