On June 22, 2022, Mykola Shyshov, Head of the Department of Land Management Research and Land Valuation, and Viktoriia Savchak, Leading Researcher of the Laboratory of Engineering and Technical Types of Research of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine participated on in the round table “Discussion of the content and procedure for applying methodological recommendations for determining the damages caused to agricultural enterprises by the war”.
The participants of the round table were the representatives of associations of agricultural producers, authorities, scientific institutions, international organizations and projects, accounting specialists, audit, law, assessment, forensic examination, advisory, discussed the problems of determining losses from the aggression of the Russian Federation by enterprises. Representatives of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise in their reports pointed out the peculiarities of conducting forensic examinations to determine the size and damage caused by Russian aggression.
During the round table, there were also draft Guidelines for recording direct damage caused to agricultural enterprises because of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, as well as recommendations for fixing and determining indirect losses of agricultural enterprises from war, developed by the Institute of Accounting and Finance and the National Scientific Center “Institute of Agrarian Economics”. The work algorithms and accounting assessment procedures included in these recommendations are based on international standards and provide a high degree of proof of losses for lawsuits and other compensation projects.
