On April 5, 2022, experts of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise together with prosecutors of the Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv and investigators of the Shevchenkivskyi Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv inspected the area near the Kyiv TV Tower.
The inspection was conducted in order to gather evidence in the criminal proceedings which were initiated on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As you know, on March 1, 2022, the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched two missile strikes on the Kyiv Television Tower. The shelling damaged hardware, several cars, and a sports complex. The rocket attack killed five people and injured five others.
