The specialists of the Laboratory for Engineering and Technical Research of Kyiv Research Institute of Forensic Expertise have become participants of the scientific event of forensic construction and technical experts of Ukraine.
Ihor Chaliuk, Head of the Department for the Quality and Cost of Road Construction Research, and Demian Psiarnetskyi, Head of the Department for Research of the Use of Real Estate, attended a seminar on the following topic: “Problematic issues of forensic construction expertise, technical and land technical expertise”.
The event was held at the Mykolaiiv Branch of Odesa Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise with the participation of representatives of the research institutes of forensic expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and representatives of the National Police of Ukraine.
The agenda included questions on how to carry out expert examinations and expert studies to determine the volume of road repair, options for calculating the cost of actually performed construction work as well as a discussion of methodological recommendations that have been tested and are at the implementation stage.
During such meetings, forensic experts – authors and developers of current methods for carrying out relevant types of examinations – have the opportunity to create their own large-scale communication platform, work on new ideas and use existing experience.
During the seminar, the participants discussed the achievements and paid the tribute to the memory of Oleksandr Buratevych, the Honored Builder of Ukraine, an outstanding forensic expert, who for a long time was the head of the Laboratory for Engineering and Technical Research of KFI, the scientist who has made a great contribution to the development of forensic expertise as well.
Scientific and practical activities in the field of construction, technical and land-technical expertise are aimed at meeting the needs of practicing forensic experts in advanced training and exchange of experience. In addition, it is important to form common thoughts on problematic issues and work out ways to solve them.
At the end of the meeting, the participants received certificates of the seminar “Problematic issues of forensic construction expertise, technical and land technical expertise”.
