On the eve of the Day of Forensic Expert, specialists from the Cherkasy branch of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine told the journalists of “The Evening Cherkasy” about the history and current work of forensic experts.
The Cherkasy branch began its work in May 1998 and has been operating for over 20 years. The team employs 14 certified experts and experienced freelance experts, which are involved in conducting examinations.
Since the existence of the branch, tens of thousands of court decisions have been made, taking into account the conclusions of experts.
Now in the Cherkasy branch of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise the following types of studies are being conducted: handwriting, transport and trasology, construction and technical, land-technical, fire-technical, economic, merchandising, auto-merchandising, electrical, engineering-ecological, document research, research of road accidents, life safety research, land appraisal and land management research.
