The leading forensic expert of the Cherkasy Branch of Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise Viktor Fonrabe spoke as the speaker of the newspaper “Vechirni Cherkasy” and told citizens about the problems in power supply and the main tasks of electrical engineering examination.

“Electricity consumption is an important indicator and the usual state of the standard of human life. But this familiar state at any time can be initiated with interruptions in the supply of electricity. It should be remembered that electricity can cause a lot of distress, if you do not know how to use it properly.
Power surges are one of the most common problems faced by residents of apartments or private houses during the operation of electrical appliances. An increase or decrease in voltage in the network, accidents, sudden surges, breaks in power lines – all this not only reduces the service life of household appliances, but also can completely destroy electronics and equipment in standby mode as well as to lead to a fire.
When calculating the consumed electric energy, electric meters are used. For personal gain, it is possible to influence any counter, either directly inside the counter, or outside, without disassembling it, with the help of a magnetic field, as well as the radio suppression of the counter. When using induction meters, you can create bypass lines for the consumption of electrical energy.
The main tasks of electrical engineering examination are to determine the causes of emergency conditions in electrical networks and electrical equipment, the influence of these modes on electrical appliances and human electrical safety, analysis of electrical installations and their compliance with regulatory requirements.
The objects of electrical engineering examination are electrical equipment, electrical appliances, their parts, fragments of electrical wires and cables, electrical protection device, electrical devices, electrical circuits, etc.
